                  "Commitment to Excellence in IT"
                        Fall 2007 Scholarship Information

Presented by The ADP Council of the Southeastern States, Inc.

Purpose: To encourage education and careers in technology, particularly telecommunications and information technology.

Scholarship Award Amount no less than: $1,500.00

Eligibility:

Any student planning to or majoring in a technology field. Student's permanent home address must be within the following Southeastern States: Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina or Tennessee.

When to Submit: On or Before November 16, 2007

Application should include:

1. Planning major field of study
2. Grade Point Average, Verification of enrollment or letter of acceptance.
3. Statement of financial need.
4. Essay on "Why I Chose Technology as my Field of Study" (200 words or less).
5. Two brief letters of recommendations.
